About Us

You do the healing. We do the rest.

What makes our ASC management different?

The answer is undeniable: Our people.

As Chief Executive Officer, Tom Newman, puts it, “Our team has the background and skills to make every part of the process the highest quality for everyone.”

At HealthCrest, we partner with physicians and employees to create an outstanding patient experience. “Doctors get to make their own decisions.” When our team of professionals join together with your physicians and staff, it’s a touchstone for excellence.

Our History of Growth

HealthCrest Surgical Partners was founded in 2016 for the purpose of facilitating a management buyout of the ambulatory surgery center division of Foundation Healthcare Inc. The entities which now comprise HealthCrest (Foundation Surgery Holdings and the assets of Foundation Surgery Management) have been developing and managing ASCs since 1996. HealthCrest currently operates 9 Ambulatory Surgery Centers and 50 sleep labs in 8 states, and is poised for significant growth. Quite simply, HealthCrest is a leader in offering straight forward and effective development & management solutions for our surgeon partners, as well as providing the best possible patient experience and the optimal outcomes for which the ASC industry is known.

OUR Model of ASC Management

We know the HealthCrest model works for patients and doctors. We understand that this is your ASC, and that you, the physicians, drive patient care. We believe you should have the opportunity to benefit from your hard work and years of investment. That is why HealthCrest partners with physicians through investment in a minority ownership position, based on the needs of you and your ambulatory surgery center.  HealthCrest will even work with you in a joint venture relationship with local hospitals or health systems if such a relationship is in the best interest of your facility.

Blueprint for Success

Integrity, excellence, stewardship, accountability and loyalty are the guiding principles that make us one of the nation’s leading surgery center management companies.

Our Mission

HealthCrest Surgical Partners is an industry-leading ASC development and management company focused on partnering with physicians and employees to create an outstanding patient experience while maximizing partner and shareholder value.
